Kilombero Sugar Company Limited had the honour of hosting the Minister for Industry and Trade, Hon. Judith Salvio Kapinga, at its exhibition pavilion during the official opening of the Nane Nane Eastern Zone Exhibition in Morogoro.
During the visit, the Minister received a comprehensive briefing on Kilombero Sugar's ongoing investments aimed at strengthening Tanzania's sugar industry. The discussion highlighted the Company's newly operational, state-of-the-art K4 factory, a landmark investment that has significantly expanded production capacity and is playing a key role in increasing domestic sugar production.
The investment underscores Kilombero Sugar's continued support for the Government's agenda of achieving national sugar self-sufficiency while creating employment opportunities and contributing to the country's industrial development.
The Minister was also introduced to Bwana Sukari, Kilombero Sugar's consumer brand, which continues to provide high-quality sugar to households across Tanzania.
The briefing, delivered by the Company's Communication and Stakeholder Relations Manager, Victor Byemelwa, also showcased Kilombero Sugar's commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering value to consumers and stakeholders alike.
