Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and processing of the payroll in accordance with company policies, processes and procedures using the appropriate IT payroll systems.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare relevant payroll files for payment of salaries and wages in accordance with country legislation requirements

  • Plant and equipment in the plant are units are operated safely as per plant specification and process deviation and equipment breakdowns are reported and attended to timeously.
  • The plant unit performance, safety, housekeeping, quality and environment standard are achieved and maintained all times, coordinating such activities as necessary with the Distillation Operator.
  • The required information is logged down, captured on computer and communicated to the Distillation Operator.
  • Ensure all process are executed in accordance with ISO 220000 and local good practice for safety, health, environment and quality.
  • Monitor the performance and operates the plants units on continual shift basis using on plant measurement to produce the required quantity and quality of alcohol and CMS.
  • Solves process problems and deviation by using necessary problem-solving tools, eg 5why, fishbone, in conjunction with distillation operator by taking the appropriate corrective action to meet production KPIS.
  • Ensure the evaporators are appropriately isolated and cleaned when required.
  • Conducting of C.I.P of evaporators and heat exchangers at required interval and time.
  • Ensuring that all storage tanks/ pits level control is done in such to prevent overflow.

 Job Requirements.

Job Purpose
We are looking for Grower Business Systems Manager who will Implement and manage agriculture business systems for effective agriculture data analysis, with focus on components of the Planning, Forecasting and Reporting Systems and Ensure accurate business metrics through a Geographic Information Systems database.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate installation of business systems and components as required, including effective systems integration (e.g. CanePro with other estate information management systems), to report on long-term and season trends, crush and production plans, meteorological, manpower and other statistics and reports as required
  • Implement and manage GIS system with reference to grower registration and mapping, land use plans, assets under management, land encroachment.

Job Purpose
To operate and monitor process units including Mixed Juice handling, Juice heating (screened and clarified juice heating), Clarification, Filtration and Evaporation. Ensuring set target parameters for each unit is achieved as per shift KPI. Back-end maintenance during breakdown and off crop.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitors the performance of the plant units i.e., juice heating, clarification, filtration, and evaporation on a continual shift basis using the DCS system to achieve the target parameters as per KPI.
  • Monitor key parameters example juice temperature, clear juice pH, syrup brix, pol % filter cake, pressure, and vacuum settings in real time and take appropriate & timely action to
  • Adheres to safety procedures, maintains the control room housekeeping, quality and environmental standards.
  • Records production data and any other required information on appropriate log sheet and logbook with the assistance of the site operators/attendants.
  • Trains, as required, plant personnel on the Control Room operation.

Job Qualification and Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in sugar industry.
  • Exposure to production environment, Operational experience in a factory, preferably a sugar factory.
  • Basic training of industrial safety/ Ability to identify hazards and assess associated risks at mill operations.
  • Experience with operating a DCS system.
