Job Purpose
The Cane Payment Administrator is responsible to provide various admin and accounting related to cane payment process.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that grower debt to KSC is captured properly for recovering promptly in terms of fertiliser sales, advances to growers, etc.
  • Proper capturing of all the necessary grower banking details for verification and release
  • Attend to grower queries regarding payments, where required.

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will ensure that all operations are carried out as per Fire and Safety Acts/legislation of Tanzania, NOSA IMS and ISO 9001:2015 at Kilombero Sugar to achieve and maintain safety and quality standards.

  • Identify fire risks associated with the process of KSC and communicate this with the HS Manager.

• Manages the creation of new MIDs and requests for corrections/enrichment to existing MID’s (within agreed SLAs) from Category Leads and/or Operations to the Division Catalogue in accordance with agreed structured formats for naming. This includes the technical understanding & application of classifications/grouping and materials technical data within the Division Catalogue and the management & correction of Master Data related parameters
• Enhances Master Data clarity and integrity through effective & efficient service delivery and resolution of issues affecting realization of the overall Procurement Strategy

  • Checks repair/service/maintenance quality and monitor time taken to perform the task by Maintenance workers.
  • Abides to safety requirements and standards.
  • Carry out vehicle test after repair and rectify/report any sensitive findings observed to W/Shop Foreman.
  • Perform all tasks with “awareness” towards the prevention of any forms of pollution to the surrounding and environment.
 Job Qualification and Experience
  • Trade Test Grade I or Level III and above from a recognized Institution.
  • 4+ years’ experience working in Pneumatics, hydraulics, auto electric mechanics, automotive mechanics jobs in manufacturing industry.
  • Mentally and physically fit.
  • Extensive knowledge in mechanical Machinery, running behavior, safety and lock out procedures
Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Fixed Contract.
