Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage security contractors (including security services, crime prevention, critical incidents, emergencies and disaster recovery activities) across the full value chain.
- Ensure a fit-for-purpose Emergency Response Team and Incident Control Center is in place.
- Ensure compliance with group minimum standards and process for SCCIDR (security, crime, critical incidents and disaster recovery) with operations, adopt and embed agreed best practices.
- Maintain and regularly enhance the SCCIDR system to respond to emerging threat.
- Manage administration of access controls at all sites.
- Ensure security related data is captured, monitored, and managed effectively.
- Investigate and manage all security, crime and fraud incidents and all other required investigations including supporting prosecution and follow up cases.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Cooperate with civil authorities and emergency responders to ensure immediate response and support is available to all sites where an event occurs.
- Entrench enablers and new technologies to increase security and crime prevention levels and monitor the effectiveness of the installations.
- Compile and manage security budget with contractor.
- Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, competition law and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC).

- Develop and follow programme for all farm visits and Growers in own extension area, identify gaps and provide advise to Growers.

- Develop in-Country medium and long term Manufacturing (Production and Maintenance) Optimisation Strategy with objective of effectively optimizing performance and cost of production.
- Drive optimisation by driving initiatives that will deliver products at cost and quality levels that drive profitability.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing optimisation initiatives and supporting problem resolution.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the irrigation systems that supply water to speedlings in the nursery.
- Ensuring that pumps, filtration units, fertigation system and related equipment operate efficiently to provide adequate water and nutrients to plants.
- Monitoring water flow, adjust settings based on nursery needs, and troubleshoot any issues to prevent damage to the speedlings

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proper storage and arrangement to facilitate long life of scaffold materials and ensure safety compliance as per Illovo standards.
- Building scaffolding works adhering to proper procedure to assure safety of scaffold users.
- Inspect scaffold materials and store them in proper condition hence taking prompt measures to eliminate unsafe condition associated to scaffolding.
- Ensures that scaffolding works are carried out adhering to working at height requirements.
- Co-operate with management to enable them to perform their duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Together with team, do risk assessment prior building the scaffold and attain proper working permit prior erecting and demolition of scaffold structure.
- Barricade risk areas associate to scaffolding works on going to prevent injuries to people walking/working around.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by what you do or do not do
- Minimum Trade test grade III.
